I, Kiara Santiago, am an all- around artist who lives and works in Trenton, New Jersey. Growing up a feminist and activist, my colorful paintings pay homage to femininity and the trials and tribulations that come with it. My distinctive style emanates emotion and stories and expresses the spirit and atmosphere of what it means to be "woman". 

picturesque charcoals, colorful abstracts, still life's, and graphite pieces are brought to life with contrasting and harmonious colors and compositions. Expressing myself on canvas or on paper is my way of story-telling, whereas I am the story teller and I welcome you, my audience,  to join me on this visual journey.
